Although you may not see it,
My bruises are dark and throbbing,
My scars red and swollen.

Although you may not see it,
Sometimes i am so scared,
Sometimes it hurts to breathe.

Although you may not see it,
Im just a girl whose tears wont stop flowing
Im not as strong as i appear/

Theres more to me than meets the eye.

Im not as strong as i appear,
my body aches with fear,
My heart trembles, shakes, and breaks.
My words come out very slow,
Theres more to me than anybody will ever know.
