GET OUT

Contributed by lemmen on Monday, 29th November 2004 @ 12:57:35 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

He TOLD her to LEAVE.
He TOLD her to GET OUT.
He DIDN'T NEED her.
He DIDN'T LOVE her.
With TEARS in his EYE'S.

He PUSHED her out the DOOR.
Made her FALL to her KNEES.
She was the HURT.
She made LOVE a TEASE.

Out of my SIGHT.
Take your KID'S and LEAVE.
Your WORTHLESS.
Your NOTHING.

Go KILL YOURSELF.
Make SOMETHING of your LIFE.
Do the WORLD a FAVOR?

RAGE untold,
HATE,
FIRE,
BURNED within HIM.

The PAIN.
His HEART SHATTERED.
As she LEFT with his HEART.

NEVER COME BACK.

As she DROVE out of SIGHT.
Her TEARS.
Her SELF HATE.
Why did she TELL HIM,
The KIDS where NOT HIS?

He LOVED them.
But now is just HATE.
TEARS.
His voice TELLING HER
to LEAVE.
I don't NEED YOU.
I don't LOVE YOU.

ECHO within her MIND.
KID'S CRYING while she
DROVE AWAY.
With HIM in the MIRROR,
Her LIFE is PASSING AWAY.

She is a LAIR.
She is a CHEAT.
The WORLD would be a BETTER
PLACE.
If she WOULD just LEAVE.

He FALLS upon his KNEES.
CRIES.
YELLS.
OUT LOUD.
Arms RAISED to the HEAVENS.

WHY GOD OH WHY.

Did she CHEAT?
Did she LIE?

RED WHITE BLUE light,
Appear in the DISTANCE.
A GREAT CLOUD of SMOKE,
Arises into the SKY.

She DROVE off that WAY.
She WOULDN'T.
She COULDN'T.

WHAT HAVE I DONE?

My LOVE.
MY KIDS.
Where is SHE?

RAGE still BURNS within HIM.
But the LOVE he TRULY has
for HER EMERGES,
THROUGH the FIRE of HATE.
And DISBELIEF of SIN.

With YET another EXPLOSION.
Her CAR with KID'S unknowing.
She DROVE into HELL'S FIRE.
She HIT the GAS truck GOING
HUNDRED and TEN.
Nothing LEFT but ASHES,
A PUDDLE of METAL.

She FELT no PAIN,
DEATH was INSTANT.
No SCREAMS,
No CRY for HELP.
But HE KNEW it,
HE FELT it,
HE SAW it WITHIN.
The FLAMES BURNING.
Her LIFE DYING,

NO ESCAPE.

He DROVE upon the SCENE
nothing was LEFT.
The ROAD was even MELTED away.
The FIRE still RAGED.
AIRLINE JET FUEL.
MELTS all AWAY.
No way to PUT it OUT.
Just LET it BURN OUT.

He RUN'S PASS the BARRICADE
into the FLAMES,
Into his LOVE.

WHERE IS SHE?

His FLESH drips from his BODY.

WHERE IS SHE?
WHERE IS SHE?
WHERE IS SHE?

LOVE dies together as the FLAMES
DIE.
NO TRACE,
NO ASHES,
NOTHING is LEFT.

NO record is FOUND that THEY
were even THERE.

EARTH turns to GLASS.
A REFLECTION of the SOULS
LOST this DAY.

IN ANGER.
IN RAGE.
IN HATE.
IN LOVE.
