How far away was I,
In the land of Beetlebot,
When I came across a monkey,
All covered in blue snot.
With tears upon his face,
So I turned to ask him why,
But he simply looked away
“Dappleduck has gone goodbye.”
I crouched down beside him,
Where he was perched on a rock.
I searched for a tissue,
But instead he grabbed my sock.
Surprised to say was I,
For I hadn’t expected this.
But more a shock I got,
When he leaned to give a kiss.
Well what was I to do?
Hurt his feelings, I think not.
So a monkey I was kissing,
Now I’m covered in blue snot!
