Poetry expresses my soul.

Contributed by deathdrop on Monday, 29th November 2004 @ 07:12:50 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

When I feel like this I can’t quite behave.
So I write it out in a rhyming craze.
I write how I feel and how bad in hurts.
And how I can’t heal ‘coz I feel, like dirt.

My poetry seems to keep me firm.
And so as you read, you’ll see and lean.
My poetry holds my life and thoughts,
And all of the gunk keeping me distraught.

It’s my release to write it out in flow,
And keep notes of how I got this low.
And express how things have got so bad…
Writing’s just my way, to say, why I’M SAD…

‘Coz I can’t tell people in any other way.
I wouldn’t know where to start or how to explain.
Where to begin with abuse and tears.
And how living it self gives me ultimate fears.

It is an outlet for the best, tears to write, sorrow to fight, we all have our ways of dealing, and this is yours.
I wont tell you mine, for mine is life best kept in the dark.
You show great strength in your words, imbued with a will to fight, though feeling down, you still try to keep on top...not many have the will you have, your poem is an inspiration to others feelings you are.
Keep fighting keep living.
Beautiful poem.

Carry on writing Hun! Never stop, if it helps don't stop.

I can relate to this, sometimes writing is the only way I can say things...

*loves this*
If you need me you know where I am.

*hugs*

Yup. I can relate to this; expressing how you feel in poetry just seems to mingle so nicely with strong emotions. I'm keeping mine elsewhere now though. Blessings!
