violet burgundy

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

finding thunder passes fire passes sky
passes the touch and train of her eyes
and you, you are praying to the page
waiting for a phone call on the backseat
of an empty bus on a congested highway
going north to the mountains.
and i, i am touching depth i am touching
azure strength and brushing fingers through
her hair her spring smile playing at the window
playing the black keys the beautiful keys
that play my soul.
i forget your silly questions she is
more than you and you are never alone
you are angry pacified poured coffee rotting
in your teeth naming love names
love is the only loneliness i feel
and you cannot remember what
i cannot remember but you are afraid
you are stringing her hair in pieces
in wire frame light and puzzles in the air.
she is fever painting fever silver thread
red highlights in her hair you hit and push
i sleep and sweat your favorite color colored
blue colored black and night on sugar screams
and ruby rouge siding sitting in your car she
is almost you
she is almost my vast black desert dying
in the sun the violet burgundy i cannot see
you in my dreams.
there was a frailty to she and i searching
the ads searching the desert sands searching
for the love and loves we left behind the love
we had for you your smile a smile touching
tears tearing our faces our figures black and
wild clear spinning figures in the storm this
allegory shrill and hopelessness with form
the form of your breasts as you sobbed
and heaved and slammed against my chest.
