I want so badly
for you to flow from my fingertips
like the blood that flows
from the space where my heart used to be.
The tick-tock of the metronome
is now the beating organ
that gives me life.
When I hear your call,
I feel at the center of myself
the Energy that wants (needs)
to violently escape
and show itself to the World
as colorful light
that no human has ever seen.
The strumming of the guitar,
for which I'd sell my soul,
can be played by none other than
the Devil himself,
for only true Sin
can take such an instument
and pluck those strings with fire
that creates the sound,
the voice of pain,
that dances so lovingly
on my ears.
Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder
only if those who behold
have died a thousand deaths.
Lyrics and melodies become veins
from which I drink.
Euterpe,
be my Vampire
and take from me
pain and joy,
bits of being Human,
and a lot of being more than Human.
Take this ugly form,
I surrender.

A pretty write to your muse. May she respond and fill you with... blessings. |
