I want to be blind
never having to look in your face again.
Never having to see the sick beauty
that is you
and countless other people.
You see,
I've seen it all before,
your eyes that look through me,
all light that fades to black,
blue skies that turn to a nauseating green.
My eyes are the problem,
they see all the beautiful things in you
physical and non.
They see the sun rise in the East
and
blue skies that dome over my head.
I see all these things
but they don't see me.

excellent write. presented well. interesting concept.
