Poetic Soul
You call me poetic soul
And I suppose it's true
God has granted me a vision
And I share it with you
But you are no less poetic
No less inspired than me
You too feel His touch
Are able to see
The beauty of His creation
The wonder of His grace
I know this is true
For I see it in your face
So come let us together
Speak of His glory and love
Let us worship in joy
The Hawk and the Dove
The poetry He has written
Deep within our soul
And the way we express
Is beyond our control
Indeed we all are poetic
Bearing the inscription of His hand
Giving testament to His vision
As best we understand

Nice. Yes... but if only everyone tapped into their poetic soul and gave God His due praise. So many nowadays pass up the beauty and refuse to see His handiworks.
