I carry with me a fist full of hate,
How much is there, too much to date,
All I know is it comes with me everywhere,
It isn’t kind & I know it doesn’t care.
All it wants is to destroy me from within,
Emotionally kill me for all my past sins,
I have tried to put it down & let it go,
But just like a river this hatred doth flow.
It burns as it grows inside me,
Unlike a dove it does not want to go free,
It longs to breed in me with my age,
I am like a rabid dog locked in my cage.
I have been impregnated with anger so raw,
Trapped underneath the vultures claw,
As I struggle my strength leaks,
From my pores, rendering me weak.
My hate is made from solid steel,
It continues to spin my wheel,
It rolls off my tongue like venom from a snake,
Never satisfied until someone is about to break.

| Very powerful; especially in the fourth stanza. The impregnation gives me very explicit images. Very empowering. I love it so! |

| anger is such a blanketed emotion.....we're supposed to hide it.....cover it up until it resembles another thing.....but deal with it by ourselves.....you've done a wonderful job here...... |

I read some where once upon a time that anger is jus hurt comming from a very small hole.
