TODAY IS A NEW DAY

I awaken to a world of warm sunshine
The beginning of a brand new day
The day can be wasted or used in a unique way
How I spend it will affect my attitude
For other tomorrows

The past is behind me
Been struck there far too long
It is time for a new beginning
Seize new opportunity
Today is a guide to build upon future days

I choose to respect life
I choose to be more loving and kind
I choose to be loving in both word and deed
I choose to begin with changing me
I choose to be thankful for events in my life even PTSD
I CHOOSE TO BEGIN BY LOVING ME
