The Allure of Beautiful Sadness

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Saturday, 27th November 2004 @ 02:45:43 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

She is beautiful to me
With these kind eyes
Eyes that can only be compared to
An overcastting endless sky
Or an infinite aurora
Of grays, blues and greens
Pale eyes that all can see
But her beauty does not stop there
She has a sweet face with wanting lips
How precious would one of her kisses be?
Trapping someone in ecstasy for all eternity
Having felt the final bliss
And then death for a life would be complete
Then from her hands be reborn
With the warmth of her skin regain it all and hurt no more
She is not statuesque but better and for more alive
Far more angel like than any other can get to be
She has this sadness to her that just add to her allure
And her faith resonates from her
I can see her wings wrap around the earth
Hers is a beautiful destiny that’s the stars have shown me
She also has this brilliance about her
This warmth in an artist’s way
She is all these things to me and more
Even more than what she knows

I am impressed and touched in the heart with your poem of friendship.

It just says so much about your character. I think this is an endearing and beautiful dedication.
