Thankstaking Day

Greedily they reach their dirty hands across the table
To grab the dry stale bread
and the greasy slimy turkey
In the next room there are screams of a woman
and the crack of something breaking against her soft skin
Yes it's Thanksgiving this year and everyone joins in
For some holiday fun
Full of bitter smiles
A sick and twisted day of joy
For every little girl and boy
With bellies full of malice
And minds on what they want
We smile and say a prayer for ourselves
and wish the world Happy Thankstaking.

Very thought provoking-
A clever (negative) connotation!
Kudos ^_^ |
