New York Nights part two After That First Night

Contributed by Doriens_Picture on Friday, 26th November 2004 @ 08:27:26 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

After that night
We had seen each other a few times
She always looked just as beautiful as the first
And we had lots of fun each time
I am happy that I gave her a few moments pf Peace
It has been a few weeks now and
But something told me there was something wrong
She would not tell me but she always had something
On her wrist to cover her cuts and scars
I wish I knew why she did though
I wish I could take the place of that blade
I try and see her everyday for the sake of y sanity
One time her ex came by late at night drunk
And started beating on the door madly
I went out side and just pushed his head in against it
He fell on the floor and I just went back to my room
When I went in she was there crying again
She had her wrist wrapped and she told me thank you
I told her he will not be bothering her any more
And she asked if she could spend the night
And I said yes I took out my air bed and gave her my room
When I woke up the next day she was there next to me
I had my arm around her and did not know
I could not wake her so I just stayed in
I looked out the window and it was raining
I could not fall asleep again so just looked at her
She was in a spaghetti strap navy blue shirt
The rest was wrapped in my blanket
Her red hair covered her face so I just moved it to the side
She had washed the makeup off and just looked so beautiful
I had not kissed her yet but wanted to do so
How could I not when her lips were calling me
The way she breathed drove me insane with wanting
She opened her eyes and said I love you
She then closed them she must have been sleeping
She has such soft pale skin so beautiful and cold
It has her always looking for the warmth of others
I knew then with her in moving further into my arms
That I could not let any harm come to her
Not now not ever not to her
We were there for hours
And she did not awaken
I did not care she was enough substance for me
A few more hours passed and the sun started to set
The day went by slowly it was even better for me
Then it as twelve again so I went back to sleep

I am so glad I read the first part of this..I enjoyed it very much. It reads so much like a dream about to come true...
*Anxiously awaiting part 3*

I love the development of the story. Nice and slow, makes the reader cling to it more. I also like the protective role the "you" have taken. Lovely.
