Holiday Poetry
|
People pushing to get that toy,
Happy faces on every girl & boy,
lights on houses,hung with care,
and people buying underwear,
no egg nog on the shelf at the store,
wreaths are hung on peoples door,
waiting in line for an hour or two,
buying gifts and wrapping them too,
decorateing trees are everywhere,
traffic on the streets,but no ones cares,
angry shoppers hustle home,
calling loved ones on the phone,
stuffing your face with food no doubt,
The holidays are here,thats what the fuss is about!
