We bumped into each other outside our sanctuary,
You asked me where I was going,
Almost felt like you were interested again.
You didn’t seem to want to leave or for me to walk away,
I couldn’t handle it; I wanted to be held by you.
I walked away, I didn’t want to but it was the only way.
I almost cried on my best friend because of how much it hurt to walk away.
When I came back you seemed like a different person,
Weren’t very interested in me at all.
Our two lessons together and all you said was
‘I can’t be over here; you’re both using too much pink.’
When it was time for us to leave,
You merely just waved and walked out.
No words. Not even much of a smile.
My heart just shattered,
I was so close to tears,
But no I couldn’t break down in college,
Too many people ask too many stupid questions.
I had to cry on the inside.
Now I won’t see you till Monday,
This weekend is going to be so long,
My words do no justice to how I feel.
I love you, but I have to walk away from you,
You will not commit to me,
Whether you’re scared or don’t feel the same.
Either way I have to do this,
It hurts unlike anything else, alas I fallen in love with you.
Now I hurt for such emotions…….
