Graveyard Of My Past Copyright©2004 1125

Contributed by joker17 on Thursday, 25th November 2004 @ 05:58:49 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It’s been too long again
This Graveyard Of My Past
Tragedy in my wake
For love that didn’t last.

I gave all that I had
I thought more give, than take
She drowned me so completely,
I’m hanging on point break.

Not sure what’s left for me
It’s such a waste of time
To find the love you need
Then just be left behind.

To pour out all you have
Then have it torn away
Alone to be forgotten
To die another day.

Now darkness is surrounding
The shadow has been cast
I’m just a bitter memory
My Graveyard Of My Past.

Breathing won’t come easy
And sleep will never last
I’m slipping six feet under
The Graveyard Of My Past.

I think that depressing events in a person's life sometimes bring out the best in their creativity.
