I am going to lay down in a meadow and stare up at the sky,
I am going to lay down on my carpet floor and cry.
I am going to wish I was somewhere holding you tight,
under the sun or in the dead of night.
Even though my body walks and breathes in this place,
my soul is lost in dreams holding your hand as I pace.
Confused and distant are my thoughts of late,
They are all focused on you, and the fact that it’s fate.
