The wind hurls forward,
Pushing me deeper...
And deeper...
Into the silent darkness.
I pull away and the darkness fades,
Only to return in a split second.
It engulfs me,
Pulling me further...
And further...
Into nothingness.
No hands reach to help;
They wave goodbye...
Forever

| Yes, my life has gone much better. This was written in the teen years when you are just discovering so many things and so many disappointments. Now that I am older, things don't seem as bad, or maybe I just deal with them better. But I am sure we all have those days of despair. Thanks so much for your comments! |
