Caught in a chasm, whirled about, like a piece of paper caught in a dust storm,
Raging out of control, my mind, no longer knows what is considered to be the norm...
Spinning wheel spinning, spinning wildly out of control, like a tornado trapped in a valley with straw houses, non-can stand the toll.
We trudge about with our hearts affright, spouting with pride our ignorance of life,
While in secret, in shadows, our children die, with dreams filled with turmoil and strife...
Dashed and splashed all around, twisted and turned everywhere, like waves driven and tossed,
We parade one before the other, in hope that the secret, we can discover,
Revealing the power we need, in order, peace to find, which will our souls please,
For we cannot tell the day from the night or the night from the day, nor a laugh from a cry,
As we are whisked away by fairy tales and fantasies that replace the truth with a lie...
