You're gone,
you took your own life.
What was I supposed to do? Sit here and wait for you.
I saw you hanging from that rope.
Eyes closed, sad frown on your face.
I was to shocked to cry,
I never knew you would die.
You were me, I was you.
I waited for hours.
I can't get you out of my head.
The fact that you're gone is literally breaking me in half.
The chair was tumbled over, you in your prom dress, hair curled and fixed nice, eyes closed, sad frown on your face.
Hanging from that rope in the sky,
I was to shocked to cry.
Why did you have to die?
I waited for hours.
You were me, I was you.
But now you're gone,
you took your own life.
You were hanging from that rope in the sky.
So now I cry.
