Down to the village
At the end of 1968
Pulling another Medcap
Extending medical care to the locals
Trying to win their hearts
We show the kids a movie
Give shots and medicine to mom & dad
Invited to sit down to dinner
With the local village chief
Food and drink in abundance
Tho’ strange looking to my eyes
Some are quite tasty
The meat is sweet and stringy
I learned to never ask again
After learning it was their dog

Ew. When my dad was in the Philipines they went to this little mom n pop shop type place to order staek sandwiches. The cooks were takining forever s two of the Marines went into the back to see what the hold up was and saw them cutting up sewer rates the size of dogs... Thanks for sharing this disturbing poem, lol. |
