Unbearable fustrations towards a boy I once knew.
How he changed with age, growing in rage.
No longer the little boy with wide eyes,
But a hateful rude mass of a person I've come to dislike.
He used to look up to us,
Now he looks down at us.
We all use to be equal... my brothers and me.
But somewhere along the line I got typecast as the freak.
He thinks he's so perfect and so normal and always has the right of way.
When it's gone beyond sibling rivalry and becomes a personal attack whose mother will be there to stop it?
You'd think that in a world where it's just he and I that he would be a little more greatful for all that I do.
But my little brother is the unnormal normal child.

Makes me appreciate my brother. Your poems seem very expressive, in spite of the typos and spelling errors. The "typecast as a freak" line is very clever. I like it. |
