When the familiar grows boring
you alone change
yet remain, unchanging,
the same as when first we met
captivating
fascinating

and I am enraptured
by the beauty
that I see, and
that I sense

safe and comforting
in your familiarity
you yet lose not my interest
colorfully transforming
into whatever you please
