Two Tickets for a Guilt Trip

Contributed by eyesxcriedxout1989 on Tuesday, 23rd November 2004 @ 03:59:26 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I'll put on my mask
The sad look of
Desperation
The depression gleams in my eyes
Pity, sorrow, bulls***
Lies are all we are
Masks on
Faces painted with red dye
And we'll splash some on our wrists
While everyone stares
"Oh poor soul"
Shut up, I'm too much of a wuss
To cut myself
So I'll just put on my mask
Cry for me

Disillusionment
very clearly expressed.

But in this case you clearly state
that your High School vampires
are just totally putting on an act.

Your very right. We do all put on masks. We all try to be something we are not, or try to cover up how we really feel. I don't like fake people, but I realize that I am sometimes one of them...Good write, I like it.
