Congress jettisons nuclear bomb funds
President touted bunker buster as vital to U.S. security

Congress, in a surprising blow to the Bush administration's nuclear weapons ambitions, has eliminated funding for two major bomb research programs, including a so-called bunker buster that the president had said was essential to the country's security.

Well, well, well
See the worms turn!
Could it be at last
They have begun to learn?

That Bush and his liars
Talk so much scary crap
That they are no longer willing
To take the rap?

Or is this just posturing
Taking places on the map
No longer being bullied
Or taken for a sap

A few scores being settled
The limits of Bush’s power
No they’ve not gone nuclear
Far from his final hour

But it IS a significant sign
That they won’t be patronized
Nor made to cower in abject fear
As truth is sensationalized

Better take note George W Bush
The time has come and gone
When you could wield your weapons
As the others scrape and fawn
