you can you wont

Contributed by paula_kay23 on Monday, 22nd November 2004 @ 05:01:46 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

you can steal my money, you can pull my hair
pinch your nose when im near, stop and stare
you can alienate me from the rest of year seven
and keep it that way untill year eleven

you can stick stupid signs all over my back
telling other kids to kick me up the crack
you can gang up on me with all of your friends
leaving no time or room for my dignity to mend

you can ridicule me and you know i wont tell
while i allow your huge ego to thrive and swell
you can use me as a pawn in your little games
ill do your dirty work and take all the blame

however

you wont break me i am too strong to let you
im a doormat to you but to me i am true
you wont make me envy the person you are
i know im a better person, better by far

you wont stop me achieving my personal goals
because you cant get into my heart mind and soul
you wont make me cry and beg you to stop
i will not let you think you are the one on top

you wont quit while you are ahead and that is fine
one day you will reach the end of the line
you wont be the bain of my life and one day you will see
you are wasting your time when you are bullying me
