My voice is spoken in poetry,
I hold all my writes very close to me,
I always speak right from my heart,
That’s the way I’ve been from the very start.
I express myself through words & rhymes,
Poetry has helped me through some hard times,
I have been given a gift in writing,
My writes range from dark to happy & exciting.
I am bursting, popping at my seems,
My words came from me in such reams,
I know that with my little voice,
I have this time made the right choice.
I pour out my soul into my writes,
The words I put down always sound right,
I share my poems because it makes me feel good,
My now blooming flower was once a bud.
Some of my poems might be quite sad,
I write much better when things are all bad,
I will now write until the day that I die,
Poetry elevates my soul into the sky.

This is beautiful pixie. You know you are right, it's much easier to write when you are feeling down or sad--seems the words just flow. But when you are happy, you have to think about what to write a bit more.

I feel the same about my poetry....
I should really give my last poem to that guy..

| I really like this pixilator..it's about you and where your writing comes from and I'm glad that you'll always write..sometimes I want to quit..it hurts so much to go on but I can't stop.. Great write once again. |

It's good to see the poetry has helped you Pixie.
I too know what you mean about it being easier to write sad stuff. For some reason when I'm sad or annoyed about something the words just flow much better!
Also, may I take this oportunity to thank you for being my own personal inspiration on more than one occasion. I for one could not do it without you!
