Star-Crossed

Contributed by Avarice_Riot on Monday, 22nd November 2004 @ 12:11:17 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Darling, the nights that I dwell in are hourless.
These shadows have rendered my heart and soul nebulous
Yet still I linger on in remnants of your kiss
You seem to move right through me, a phantom lost in time
My dear, have you forgotten all that you sacrificed for me?

Darling, the days here without you are sunless.
Your voice is burning into me from somewhere far away
These ghostly melodies I hear sung to me at night
You seem to hover above me, a rose beyond my reach
My heartless raven, will you forever haunt me?

Darling, the words that I weep now are powerless.
The days when you loved me have ended true
With your name on my lips I pray that you'll bless me
With this drink in my veins I pray that the end is swift
Fear not, for in death you will find me...

Beside you at the end of our star-crossed tale.

Words spoke from the heart are always powerful :) Love is never easy but worth every struggle. This is very good.
Blessed Be.

So sad and real. The course of such love is a long and rocky path.

wow so beautiful and so equally sad. I have

in awe.

I find this another romeo and juliet or anthony and cleo..
I read it over and over again looking for something more..perhaps I am over tired..I know that I am very tired..I will come back and start fresh..

This is so very moving. It absolutely tugs at the reader's heart. Even still - I'm certain that compared to the emotions embedded in it from the writer's perspective - the reader knows so very little of how incredibly deep those emotions run.

Truly touching - and - very well done,
SNM
