Upon the horizon the sun is falling,
Yellow and red mix in the sky above.
The sea below now painted orange,
As a brisk wind passes over the placid waters.
The shadows now begin to lurch about,
Sweeping over the earth as a sheet.
A peaceful silence fills the air,
As the crickets begin to sing in the night.
Streetlights come on one by one,
A domino effect of lighting down each street.
Mothers laying their children down to sleep,
Making for a pleasant night.
