1)There for you
When ever u feel you need a friend,
When things get rough a hand to lend,
When hearts get broken,will help to mend.
Wholl stand by you until the end.
When ever u feel your on your own,
Ill be right here, your not alone.
2)Best friends
We've spent times both good and bad
Standing side by side.
You cheered me up when i was sad gave me your shoulder when i cried
Youve been there for me through best and worst no matter what i do
Just a poem to let you know that im always here for you

I loved the thoughts and the poetry itself..If it were me, I might re-arrange some of the longer lines..like this:
You cheered me up when i was sad
gave me your shoulder when i cried
Youve been there for me
through best and worst no matter what i do
Just a poem to let you know
that im always here for you
It's just a suggestion..sometimes it allows the reader to
see the rhyme more clearly..
good job though..

you were right about the short but effective part... its so wonderful to have a friend so caring as one that you have written about.. i really enjoyed ready this and it made me wonder why everyone couldnt be like this..

Amazing, simply amazing. I was in teats reading that cuz my best mate slept with my sister a few weeks ago and that wa really touchin shane cheers
