LoveRemembered

Just like the pain I felt deep inside.
As I looked, I gazed into a dream of a childhood friend and me.
Her hair was golden and as vibrant as silk.
Her velvet lips and sparkling eyes.
A girl I once loved and a most brilliant romance.
She whispered in my ear the words I longed to hear.
I love you and always have.
I awoke from my pleasent dream as the rain began to thin.
Then I realized it was no dream but a memory leaned over and said.
I love you too and always will
