It's honey intuition tempts its flutters to and fro
Alighting on the verdant hedge and petals white as snow
Forgetfulness and nonchalance (for flowers don't say no)
Rememb'ring not where once it stood nor where it's next to go
Beside derived grandiloquence is beauteous retreat;
In feath'rey dust of rainbow trust, to nature's opiate beat
In symphonies of songbird's trills and lifespans long as Crete
A limelight sun whose splendor stuns and serenades defeat
The play of carefree sanctity no deity dares degrade
Forever flits from rose to rose, from vibrant glade to glade
The center stage immune to age yet script-consigned to fade
A silver, tranquil interlude from vigilance dissuades
And though when nary sunlight shines,
It leaves without a trace
When honey-warmth cascades its wines
You're bound to meet its face.

This was a picturespque read- and I liked your use of grandiloque, though neptune may wonder why! It worked well.
You do well with nature, and while I am not a fan of such structured writes, I do think it was melodic and catchy while still being able to harness in some meaningful thoughts.

lol. Grandiloquence is never truly mine . . .
Fascinating and opulent, as ever. |
