Broken Hearts and a Cup of Tea

Contributed by thepumpkinking on Saturday, 20th November 2004 @ 01:58:29 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

A broken heart and a cup of tea
This is my very own recipe
They go together well like birds of a feather,
blue skies and good weather
Or even like you and me

Then there are a few other things
to help mend a heart...like jellybeans!
Anything that's sweet can get you back on your feet
much sooner than you think
You gotta smile through the sting

And I know it's hard
To keep yourself strong
In this broken world

Sitting here trying to make you laugh
Just trying to remind you that
no one said you can't smile while feeling kind of down
or cry and joke around
Even if you never have

And I know it's hard
To keep yourself strong
In this broken world

I remember a quarter of your day
is terrible as you say
And my bloods a quarter of Norway
When I walk through the doorway
So let me apologize now
if I act too big
