So Much On My Mind

selfstruggles

I sit here alone in my room
With nothing to do but think.
I'm trying to put back together
All the missing links.
Where did I go wrong?
Tell me-what did I miss?
What did I do
To deserve all of this?
There's so much to think about,
So much on my mind.
Why do I feel that
All along I've been blind?
I'm so confused.
Where do I go from here?
Is it worth risking this great friendship
We've shared for this year?
I want to talk to you,
But what would I say?
I'm afraid you'd just tell me
To shut up and go away.
If you want to talk to me
I'll be here, alone in my room
Sitting under this cloud
Of angry, hurtful doom.
