Blood From My Head to My Toes

Contributed by CrimsonTears on Friday, 19th November 2004 @ 11:36:23 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Covered in blood from my head to my toes
Only one spot of skin that still shows
A small little stream where my tears fell
Behind all this, there is a sad story to tell

I sat in my room one cold lonely night
Filled with sadness no happiness in sight
The pain inside was too much to bare
And I could feel my heart beginning to tear

So I took out my trusty metallic blade
I just wanted all the pain to fade
It got a little out of hand
You couldn’t possibly understand

It’s like for that moment I wasn’t there
No other pain could possibly compare
As the tears fell down my bloody face
The blood fell all over the place

The next thing that I knew
I saw all of you
Standing over me with tears in your eyes
Why is it that everyone cries?

I hear you whisper “she can’t be dead”
I yell “no“, but no one heard what I said
I just couldn’t believe that I met my end
All because the little blade became my best friend

So here I am now covered in blood from my head to my toes
Only one little spot of skin still shows
A small little stream where my tears fell
Now you know the sad story I had to tell
