Darkness

Contributed by daydreamer22 on Friday, 19th November 2004 @ 08:51:20 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

In the dark I am waiting
Sitting alone crying
Hoping someone is coming to find me
I hear nothing but silence

It is closing in on me
Death is breathing down my neck
Hairs on my arms rise up
Chills shoot down my spine

The fear of it all captures me
I am motionless
Nothing to the world
I am entranced by it all

Then a whisper in the distance
Somebody is coming
Hope has risen
Then a bright light shows

An angel sent to me to show me the way
He tells me do not fear Him
He is here to help
He wipes away my tears
He leads me out of darkness

I open my eyes
Lying on a table doctors all around
We are going to lose her
No please save me I try to scream
Not a sound comes out

Then I fall back into my fate
Life slowly slipping through my fingers
My last thoughts running around my mind
I am gone to the world...
