Heaven is where I am now
All the way up here is the sky
Without my family.
I can see them though
Watch their lives without them knowing.
I can watch daddy smashing the boats we made together.
I can watch mum trying not to think about me
I can watch my little sister turning into a wall
And my little itty brother not understanding a thing.
Even with my furry dogs of all sizes
And the faint smell of skunk in the air
I am not really happy up here
In my own personal heaven.
A school that only teaches art
And the big light globs from the play at my school
And everything else I ever wanted in life
Cannot make up for my family
Who is all stuck down on earth
Missing me to death.
All I can do is look at them live.
I can watch the man who killed me
Go about his life, getting rid of my body
And building tents for his dead wife.
But I cannot be there
With those that loved me on earth.
I cannot touch them anymore.
In my heaven
Customized to fit my wants and needs
I just sit by and wish
I was back on earth again.
