That's my Provincial Primer

Contributed by namesaretaken on Friday, 19th November 2004 @ 06:08:06 PM in AEST
Topic: political

Green peace installed solar panels on his house
He ordered them off his home and off his property
That Global warming is not real he says

He gets drunk at shady inner city pubs
And goes on to throw pennies at the homeless
The politician who refuses to debate because he does not like questions

A friend of mine throws a pie in his face
Gets one month jail time
A violent beating a homeless man gets only six months

He privatized utilities saying it will save us money
Bill increase almost 80% there normal cost
It worked here just like it worked in California

He mocked the disabled
And was reluctant to apologize
Even under massive outcries

The man who would be king
That’s my Primer he represents my province
Though I do my best by voting against him every time
He gets in every time
And that’s a crime
That’s Ralph Klein

I live in Port Huron Michigan on the thumb.
I understand our plight.
It's not any better over here.
The U.S.A.is run by the "ahem" Moral right.

Canada is a wonderful country my family and I cross over often.
Good write.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
