Walking against it, tripping and stumbling on the rough edges.
You've been here too many times to want to come back,
But everytime you find a reason not to...
You fall back right where you started from.
Your going nowhere but in circles.
Every bad feeling is more intense than the last,
Til everything becomes just another bad feeling...
When you get up in the morning.
When again no one talks to you.
When your walking the street and everyone is stearing at you.
Nothing seems to go your way for days on end,
You lost the will to live long before you began to open your eyes.
Your smug been too over-qualified for the job you have,
that way you don't have to think and you have something over the rest of us.
You spend money that isn't yours to spend...
What ever it is your selling im not interested.
(think about it)

No need to tell me to think about it, I already started doin that b4 the msg @ the end (lol:P). This was a nice poem, dark as it may have been. The worst part of it is the fact that it hits home with some people, and while it brings to light so many ideas, there's such a lack of hope for the rest of the world to see these kind of things in everyday life. I really liked this. |
