Untitled1

Topic: AngryPoetry

I put you way up there
High on that floating plate
I gave you my life
Every last inch of energy I owned
But as that plate spun and twirled
I saw you slowly fall
Back to a slow and painful death
Of hatred and of sin
I look away
And note the terror in your eyes
Then smile at the thought
You hit hard
And now I find you've faded away
That plate for you has disolved
And now a new one floats
For someone else has filled the hole
That you so deeply dug
There is a special place inside
That you will always have
Always burning always causing pain
That I will push aside
I will forget the painful past
Though remember the good times
Who knows where you will be
Who knows what I will find
No one will speak of it
Not a single word
Not a single tear will fall
For it has not been earned
Your twisted ways will no longer work on me
For I really do not care
Life will go on as long as Earth spins
Love will be shared
Trust will be earned
And never again will you be
Upon a floating plate
