THEY'VE US ALL AT LAST

Contributed by steeleyes on Friday, 19th November 2004 @ 05:32:59 AM in AEST
Topic: war

See the cockeyed schemes and Neocon dreams
Or should we call them mirages in the sand?
A blunder of such vast proportions
Does anyone think they planned?

What a deadly farce these sorry heads
Have created in chaotic Iraq
What a pathetic scam in place of a plan
This counter-productive attack

What has it achieved except Osama’s ends?
Islam may now rise almost as one
In loathing of a slaughtering invader
Where sense is replaced by the gun

An illegal war with a lie at its heart
Begun by a weak ignorant president
How many slaughtered innocents now
Does the stained U.S. represent?

The Arab nations recoil as one
At the illegal and callous attack
As far as “War on Terror” goes
We see it daily WORSENING with Iraq

America is hated more than before
And seen as an arrogant force
Militant numbers have swollen
As ignorance runs its course

Afghanistan achieved something
Even though many innocents died
Bin Laden’s camps were destroyed
Hate filled men, who viciously lied

But Iraq? It was a target of choice.
One the Neo Cons could not resist
They saw their opportunity
No WMD, but their intentions, did exist

And now we see the sorry result
A full blown propaganda coup
But not for the coalition
But for Osama and his crew

They must be so very pleased
That this radical motivating event
Has meant that their failing voices
Are given NEW power to foment

A larger and larger vicious force
With more recruits day on day
Full of intention to hit their foes
Fuelled by hatred of the U.S.A.

What an error of monumental size
For brain-challenged Bush to be persuaded
That the Neo Con lust for Saddam’s head
Meant a madness be paraded

Even if Iraq IS slowly quelled
The die of future hate is cast
Bush and his puerile Neo Con men
Have ***** us all at last

Good does not do this poem justice. More
along the lines of brilliant. Very thought
provoking and stirs ones heart for justice. I
wish Bush could read this, but then he'd
probably order an attack on Scotland
assuming he knows where it is... and then we
could watch CNN and find out what state it is
closest to in size... I'm getting carried away...
awesome poem buddy.
