Rain Maker

Contributed by Unheard_Mute on Thursday, 18th November 2004 @ 08:56:53 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I woke this morning to the sound of the rain,
Awoke with nightmares of hurt and pain,
But as the window was hit with drops,
My thoughts cease, and the pain stops,
For quite some time I listened and lied,
Listened as the world cried outside,
Layed all alone in my little bed,
Hearing as every tear was shed,
Slowly, I began to seep back into my mind,
Leaving the loneliness and rain behind,
When I came to, the rain had passed,
And it made me sad that it did not last,
So I began to weep, onto the cloth sewn,
Slowly I smiled, I made rain of my own...

irony can bring a smile to one's face sometimes before anything else will.....fear not there are many others' who understand all too well what it is you are feeling....your work is emotive and strong....creative and unique.......
