It's a shame...
We have to wait.
After so many lives have fallen.
To realize, life is only for a moment.
Those who were given.
Are not far away.
For their spirit is free.
They exist in an alternate way.
Yes, we have pain, anger and sorrows.
Missing their presence for many tomorrows.
But know in your heart, in your whole being.
Always they're with us, only unseen.
Through Gods mighty power, and with His great hand.
He'll love us, comfort us, so we can stand.
United we are, united we'll be.
We'll stand as One Nation, and always will be.

Hey Suzy,
Very evocative of the reality, as well as in the relating of your belief, which I share, that we will see our loved ones and friends again. To me, nothing else makes sense.
*************************************
From what is now to what is next
is but a step, but we're perplexed
and sometimes fear
the step to "there"
from "here".
where we go, and what that means
in part or whole,
and all betweens.
For some, for all,
when talk of soul,
and its rise or fall,
is where our thoughts have gone.
Attempting to mind conjure a glimpse
at what that "New Dawn"
will look like. Without a sense
of what we will look upon,
But, I believe that whatever else we may
or may not recognise,
our loved ones and friends, on that day
Will be familiar to our eyes.
As we will be to thiers.
maybe for once, for some, if not all,
do we become the answers to each others prayers?
**************************************************************************
I really like the way your mind moseys, and meanders from the sublime to the basic rhyme.
Keep at it. R & R |
