when I am alone at night
abscent of knowledge or insight
those dreams that i have known
are fears i still postpone
they leave me overthrown
after sweet darkness steals the light
and takes away my earthly sight
my dreams hold him with all their might
I wake... he doesnt love me anymore
my heart as heavy my wounds as raw
forever to be broken by mornings plight
not loved by day but loved by night.
