I picked a flower for you. Reminded me of the light and the sea. it took me to a different place. i thought it might take your mind off things. Thought it might help you in some way. So you looked as i handed it to you. but you had a stange look on your face. i thought you would be excited that i wanted to share something with you. you thought it was childish. You thought i was ignorant. you turned around. you didnt want the flower. kept walking. you dont need the flower anyway. kept walking. so you can criticize anyone who comes your way. youre too grown up for anyone. cant confide in anyone but yourself. tell me why cant you let something small light up your day? why do you only let yourself and your ideas make you smile? cant you take a simple thing a be amused? cant you see that i was only asking for you to take one thing from me, take one thing and let it mean something to you, because it meant something to me? cant you see that i have a mind, i can think on my own, i can let things mean something to me, and that you made me hurt inside? i just picked you a flower.

| I read alot of stuff on here that should be turned into song lyrics and this is no exception. On the poem side I will keep it short, I like it alot. |
