A few little words are needed, My Dear
to let out a few things you'd like to hear.
I hold you in my arms at night,
dreaming our future is lively and bright.
I had always thought I needed a man,
to make me feel like no other can.
Until I met you, my little one,
I didn't realize you would be so much fun!
I now know why women are here,
to make beautiful children and hold them dear.
You are my Angel, full of light.
I thank you, Lord, each and every night.
I look into your eyes, so blue and clear;
your hair so soft, fine and fair.
Your skin is so pink and rosy sweet.
Your cute little lips so perfect and neat.
When you cuddle me close it feels so right.
I just want to squeeze you with all my might.
It seems everything I do, I do for you.
Whatever my thoughts I include you too!
You will always be a part of me,
there's no one else I would rather be.
You are perfect to me and you always will,
be close in my heart until all is still.

Keep writing her poems like this and she'll understand it sooner than most. The love here is evident. I really liked reading it, and I'm sure all the YPDC moms will too.

| I know the feeling I have an 8 month old daughter that I write poems for alot! Save them for her she'll appreciate them one day! Loved this! Christina |
