At times you seemed happy,
but deep down,
i knew something was wrong,
you were not the same as "them",
and you wished someone cared,
i know how you feel...

i am happy your not the same as "them",
"them"

the least i can do is try and help,
so i just acted like myself,
comforted you when you were down,
and now...

when i am depressed i think of you,
telling me how much you love being my friend,
how you care about me,
what a great person you think i am...

but really,
your the great one,
letting me help you,

is what is was helping me,
knowing someone is trusting my judgment,
my "knowledge" on how you feel,
'cause i may not know exactly what is wrong,
but i have an idea,
i know where your coming from...

so in reality...

your the one to thank,
for being such a great friend to me,
you don not find many close friends in life,
but i think i have at least one...

you.
