The sun's brightness lights up the days
it blesses all with beautiful rays
what about those it can't touch?
some may think there are not that much
but I know the truth about that
from the highest bird to the lowest rat
but its not animals im speaking of
they live in harmony with the stars above
I'm talking about hopeless man
from salvation long ago they ran
away from God's everlasting hand
to the darkness of a land
where people learn to hate and fight
embrace whats wrong, shun whats wright
I'm trying to find the light
but jagged and hard is the path
away from man's mighty wrath
but i must keep climbing ever higher
to the pinnacle, away from the mire
not the trough but to the crest
of the wave where we can rest
in perfect peace and perfect light
away from wrong and to what's wright
to the calmness gained through meditation
there we can stop contemplation
in everlasting peace and trust
away from pain, away from lust
