Real Reasons..

My world will never shine again,
These features not to glow.
The reasons you sadly did this to me,
I guess we’ll never know.

You took my heart and broke it,
Made me believe a thousand lies.
You left my broken heart to bleed,
Hoping maybe it would die.

But though I’m still in morning,
I hope you understand.
It’s not your apologies I’m asking for,
Those words I don’t demand.

It’s the real reason why you did this,
Why my hurting makes you glad.
The real reason you drowned my thoughts,
Turned my happy into sad.

But I won’t let this keep me down,
No matter what has changed in me.
I will keep on pulling through,
Even if happiness in me will never be.
