Along Came These Tears

Contributed by tasteof_ink on Wednesday, 17th November 2004 @ 11:39:36 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

No matter how I look at the situation.
It just leaves me sore.
All this pain and burning.
Can't take much more.
I don't understand why i'm disolving.
While i'm lying on the floor.
You're stuck in my head,in my throat.
Beating me like a fool that i am.
i'm sorry i'm not perfect.
i'm nothing to you.
i'm sorry i can be anything true.
if i could turn back time i'd never be born.
then in your sides, there would be no thorns.
i cry to you to stop just for the time being.
but i geuss you enjoy these unnecesary beatings.
if it makes you happy, that's all that i care.
and know that for your anger,i will always be there.

I know the feeling in which you describe, though I have felt the pain and the burn of the lash...I think I prefered to be ignored than feel that anymore, cool poem very visual and sad.
